When I was 24, my lovely mum Kate was diagnosed with early on set dementia. She was 56. For 10 years I struggled to arrange great care for her. I was shocked by how hard it was to find carers who understood the challenges we faced. 

I knew care could be so much better. I decided to quit my job and make it happen and Lifted was born. We are the UK’s first dedicated dementia care specialist to provide live in care for people with dementia in their own homes. 

We knew we needed to develop a new approach to care that was specifically developed for people living with dementia. I’m proud of the Lifted dementia approach and I am excited for you to experience it too.
