The two-day event (10-11 June 2016) provides family carers and healthcare professionals with advice, products and insights from expert speakers, exhibitors and those living with dementia
The Alzheimer’s Show, which is held at Olympia London, is a two-day conference for those affected by or living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.
It’s the only show of its kind dedicated to this topic, and attracts thousands of family carers, healthcare professionals and visitors with a general interest in dementia.
Visit the Unforgettable stand – D4
Unforgettable will be exhibiting at the show, providing information on how our site can provide support and advice for people with dementia and their carers. We’ll be demonstrating a range of the products that we sell on the site and handing out goodie bags with samples. Come and visit us at stand D4 near the Talks and Topics Theatre.
Hear from our founder James Ashwell
Our founder James Ashwell has a wealth of experience in dementia, having cared for his mum who had frontotemporal dementia (Pick’s disease) for five years. He knows exactly what it’s like to care for someone with the condition, and he’ll be sharing his story, how he came to set up Unforgettable and his insights into the products of the future for dementia carers and care homes.
He’ll be talking at 1.30pm on Saturday 11 June at the Exhibitor Workshop Theatre so please come along to listen and say hello!

What else is happening at the show?
From practical activities, workshops and showcases to useful advice from Admiral Nurses and support on legal issues from qualified professionals, the Alzheimer’s Show will provide a wide range of information if you have dementia or know or care for someone with the condition.
There are three theatres; the Alzheimer’s Matters Theatre, Talks & Topics Theatre and the Exhibitor Workshop Theatre. Speakers will include Jeremy Hughes, the CEO of the Alzheimer’s Society, TV presenter Angela Rippon, dementia research scientists and even our founder, James Ashwell!
There will also be stands providing information on how activities such as singing, horticulture, seated yoga and art can aid people with dementia.
Dementia Friends will run information sessions and there’ll be practical advice on topics such as the Mental Capacity Act, personal budgets, legal issues and carer support.
There’ll also be talks on the very latest research developments, and the chance to put questions to a panel of experts in daily Question Time sessions.
Plus, if you need a break, SweetTree Home Care Services will be operating a Quiet Room, which is run by a specialist dementia team, and is where you can leave loved one with dementia to rest up while you explore the rest of the show.
